Logging in
Go to https://app.hubspot.com/login to login. Once there, click on Sign in with Google. Enter your RIT username followed by @g.rit.edu. This will redirect you to an RIT login page to sign in using your RIT username and password.
Sending Email from HubSpot
To send email from HubSpot from your RIT email address, you need to first configure your account to use RIT’s mail system. Here’s how.
- Log into HubSpot (instructions above)
- Go to the contacts list and find an account to send a test message to. Recommend using Dave’s personal account so he can verify it works. Just let him know you are going to test this.
- Click the Send email button for the contact
- Change the from address to your RIT email address. It most likely will be your @g.rit.edu email address. This is okay.
- Click the Connect Your Inbox button when prompted.
- Don’t check the automation tools.
- When prompted for the email address, enter your @saunders.rit.edu email address and click Next
- Don’t select Connect to Exchange. Click on Choose my mail provider below.
- Select Microsoft Outlook and click Agree when prompted.
- Enter your RIT username followed by @rit.edu to log into your Microsoft Outlook account (RIT Email). Follow the normal prompts for password and DUO.
- Once connected, you don’t need to download the plugin for Outlook.
- Send the test email and then verify it was signed with DKIM.
